Buckman Picnic
The 12th Annual Buckman Summer Picnic at Colonel Summers Park was a blast! It was held on Sunday, August 4th 2024 from 4pm to 8pm. Everyone was welcome and we all enjoyed snacks, ice cream, and music! The children present thoroughly enjoyed the bouncy house and the water features and the baby goats were a big hit as well. Please look for this event and join us next August! The Picnic is a great opportunity to interact with the local community and to meet your neighbors! We have something for everyone to enjoy including inflatable activities for the young and old alike, several picnic activities for everyone to enjoy, the opportunity to win door prizes from businesses in the local area and music from local Portland artists.
The picnic is funded through private donations from community members and local businesses. We are continuously looking for more donations to keep the Picnic free and fun for all.
